hello friends!
Been in dublin for a day now - it's a fantastic city!
chan arrived on Sunday, it was so good to see her. we
haven't really stopped talking yet, so much to catch
up on. i picked her up from the airport and took her
straight to my local pub, where she got quite drunk
and then i had to put her to bed!
got to dublin late yesterday afternoon, went for some
dinner and a pint at the nearby pub (the oldest pub in
dublin so it claims!) and then went to bed coz chan
was tired and me too from running around after her!!
cooking her tea, etc, etc, etc!!
today we went to the kilamain jail (where in the name
of the father was filmed) it was really interesting
and very spooky. then went to the guinnesse factory,
and then for a wander around the city and trinity
college. it's a cool city
, there is heaps to do, and tonight we're going to get
on it - going out for a big night in preparation for
tomorrow - st pats day! oh yeah, so when you're
sitting in your little irish pub in australia, i'll be
here, ha ha ha!
today i found out about my family history - both sides
are irish blake and la fahey (nana dot, i have some
thing for you!) no wonder i'm so clever hey, I am a
full blodded irish woman!
we are going out tonight to have lots of drinks and
try to make some friends for tomorrow.
we are meeting julie and jiff in paris on thursday and
can't wait to see them both - julie, we have some
clothes for you to keep you warm, so don't worry about
that!
anyway, better go, this only lasts for 6 minutes then
cuts out - very annoying!
miss you all, and was only joking about st pats day in
australia, wish you could all be here!
